The new WIC g2 protection relay from SEG is the successor to the successful WIC1 relays, which we started using in our Xiria, the compact Air GIS Ring Main Unit, since it’s introduction in 2002. This self powered relay now provides great additional options to comply with today’s digital demands.
An easy and short-term 1:1 replacement in existing projects ran absolutely smoothly, and the functionality compared to Generation 1 has also been extensively expanded.
