Data centers are evolving rapidly, driven by the rise of AI and increasing digital demand. One of the key challenges is the sharp rise in energy consumption, especially from AI workloads. Ensuring a stable and reliable power supply is becoming critical, as even short outages can cause major disruptions. The growing dependency on data centers makes energy stability a top priority for infrastructure planning.

Protection relays from SEG are essential components for the operation of data centres, providing maximum protection for this critical infrastructure. That’s why we were, of course, present at the Datacloud - a techoraco brand Global Congress, where Jose Rossano and Daniel Nickerl had many exciting conversations about current developments.

Because the topic is, of course, highly important to us, we were heading from Cannes straight to the Data Center World in Frankfurt.

Eine der größten Herausforderungen ist der stark wachsende Energieverbrauch, insbesondere durch KI-Workloads. Eine stabile und zuverlässige Stromversorgung wird zunehmend kritisch, da selbst kurze Ausfälle zu erheblichen Störungen führen können. Die zunehmende Abhängigkeit von Rechenzentren macht die Energie-Stabilität zu einer zentralen Priorität in der Infrastrukturplanung

Schutzrelais von SEG sind daher auch elementare Komponenten für den Betrieb von Rechenzentren und sorgen für maximalen Schutz dieser kritischen Infrastruktur. Deshalb waren wir natürlich auch auf dem Datacloud - a techoraco brand Global Congress vertreten, wo Jose Rossano und Daniel Nickerl viele spannende Gespräche über aktuelle Entwicklungen geführt haben.

Weil das Thema für uns natürlich eine wichtige Rolle spielt, ging es von Cannes aus für uns direkt weiter zur Data Center World in Frankfurt.
