What will you do?

You will develop and validate application functions for our multifunctional protection relays and support them throughout the entire lifecycle, from technical concept to practical implementation. In this role, you will work closely with our engineering teams, product management, sales support, and external development partners.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and develop application functions based on customer requirements and applicable standards.
• Evaluate and validate these functions through calculations, simulations, and laboratory testing.
• Process and provide measurement data as input parameters for application functions.
• Create and execute developer tests, as well as technical specifications and requirements.
• Review compliance with relevant standards and regulations and contribute to certification processes.
• Support the Verification & Validation (V&V) department in developing suitable test plans.
• Prepare application notes, technical documentation, and detailed test reports.
• Support technical customer inquiries and analyze customer-side fault cases.
• Collaborate closely with software and hardware development, product management, sales support, and external development partners.

What You Bring

• Successfully completed degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
• Several years of professional experience in application development for protection relays.
• Strong knowledge of protection technology and relevant standards and regulations.
• Experience working with simulation tools and laboratory equipment.
• Excellent analytical skills and strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Independent, structured, and reliable working style.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to present and document technical concepts clearly and effectively.
• Very good written and spoken German and English language skills.
