Quality Manager (m/w/d)

What will you do?
You will take on a central and independent role in our Quality Management function and actively shape the further development of our quality standards and processes. In this role, you will work closely with management as well as our Operations, Engineering, Procurement and other internal and international stakeholders.
Your responsibilities
- Independently manage, ensure and continuously develop our Quality Management System as well as our internal quality standards and processes.
- Plan, conduct and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, regulations and customer requirements.
- Manage and further develop Supplier Quality Management, including supplier qualification, quality assessment and handling of supplier deviations.
- Coordinate, conduct and document PPAP processes in collaboration with suppliers and internal departments.
- Handle quality deviations and customer complaints, including structured root cause analyses, corrective actions and effectiveness checks.
- Support and conduct process validations and provide quality assessments for new and modified production processes.
- Apply and further develop appropriate quality methods and tools, particularly APQP, Lean Management and Six Sigma.
- Maintain and further develop quality-related documentation, work instructions and quality manuals.
- Coordinate and support the implementation of relevant requirements in the area of Environment, Health & Safety (EHS).
- Develop, analyze and communicate relevant quality KPIs and promote a sustainable quality and continuous improvement culture throughout the company.

What you bring
- Successfully completed degree in an engineering discipline, such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Quality Management, or a comparable qualification.
- Several years of relevant professional experience in Quality Management within a technical or manufacturing company.
- Solid experience in independently managing and developing Quality Management Systems, along with very good knowledge of relevant ISO standards.
- Solid knowledge of APQP as well as very good knowledge of Lean Management and Six Sigma methods.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in Supplier Quality Management and in working with and developing suppliers from a quality perspective.
- Experience in planning, conducting and supporting internal and external audits.
- Solid knowledge of complaint and deviation management as well as structured problem-solving methods.
- Experience with process validation and quality assurance of production processes.
- Confident use of ERP systems and standard Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills combined with an independent, structured and reliable approach to work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as very good written and spoken German and English.
