Technical Support Engineer (m/f/d) – Dubai, UAE

Key Responsibilities:

  • Global customer support for technical product inquiries (via Deskpro / phone / e-mail)
  • Consulting, application support, troubleshooting, and fault analysis
  • Commissioning support and technical services
  • Conducting product training sessions for account managers, sales and channel partners, and customers (national and international, on-site and online), including the preparation of training materials
  • Supporting sales managers and partners with technical input and suggestions using existing products
  • Creating product and market information for sales partners
  • Collecting and maintaining regional market data through customer visits, market research, and industry events
  • Identifying product improvements to benefit customers
  • Internal logistics coordination during product launches
  • Preparing technical applications, product comparisons, and short explanatory videos
  • Supporting tender specifications and bid preparation (AVL)
  • Customer visits with sales for product presentations and project discussions
  • Participation in trade fairs, conferences, and seminars
  • Testing protection devices and project setups, device configuration based on customer data, and retrofit project configurations (SL-HPT4)
  • Providing information and support for external communications and marketing in respective markets
  • Handling inquiries from potential customers
  • Contributing to marketing planning and supporting special product strategies

Qualifications:

  • Technical university degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Solid knowledge of engineering fundamentals
  • General understanding of electronic control systems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented
  • Basic experience in presenting and conducting demonstrations
  • Proficient computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Fluent English skills (C1 level), German is an advantage
